The Yang Institute for Advanced Study (YIAS) was founded in 2019. YIAS is an advanced research institute for pure mathematics and history. The research of YIAS will focus mainly on number theory, geometry, representation theory and asian history (in particular, Chinese history, Korean history, Japanese history).
